Why E-learning and not Web Based Training?
Most web based training available today either does not properly explain how the CAD operator works or is too basic. Our E-learning material explains the functionality of the operators as well as providing PDF documents that aide in the learning process. When most designers/engineers went to school they used books and to this day that remains the basic mind set. This adds importance to our books and documents as reference materials.
Presently some materials use a format developed years ago that looks and feels like a help menu. After an operator spends time working with the material they still don’t get it. Other Web Based training has the CAD designer/engineer build a part using several operators by offering step by step instructions with little or no explanation of why or how the operator is used. If the user gets stuck they can spend hours trying to figure out what to do and how the operator actually works. This can lead to worse problems; building the model another way that makes it more difficult to edit later.
Our developers have spent many years working in the field and the class room developing a hands on understanding of design issues and user needs. We create books and PDF documents used to create the E-learning training material. Look over the demos. Each graphic includes short sentences and narration that is easy to understand and done by people we hear every day. There is no voice over done by professionals that have no understanding of the material covered.
The material is presented in lecture format followed by an interactive section and exercises. Each lesson concludes with a short quiz designed to make sure the proper use of the operator has been learned. The final step in the learning process is a series of projects at the end of each course. These projects are dimensioned solids with hints of the operators to use.
We invite you to check out the demo’s. Should you have any questions or problems or special programs, please contact us.
