What people are saying about our books!

This book Rocks!
Most classes and books on Catia just teach you how to use the command picks. This book really teaches you how to design parts. But more than how to design the parts, it really gets into the best practices and methods of how to design parts, regardless of context. Tree organization. Have parts that are easy to modify, and multiple design solutions. They never taught me this stuff in all of my 20+ years as a designer at Ford.

This book is better than any of the other CAD books I've read. The author covers real world applications. Most other books only teach functionality. This book talks about designing with forethought about what change(s) may occur. In the real world, the strength of parametric modeling is exactly that you do "design for change". While there's nothing like real world experience, this book puts you on the right road - right from the start.

I currently attend a class being taught by the author. I can say without a doubt that the book is very much in line with how he teaches the class. Which in my opinion is exceptional! I can say after using this book, its almost identical to what he teaches in the classroom. Everything is explained in a concise, understandable format, which has enabled me to easily grasp the material being taught. The methods presented by the author behind parametric modeling are absolutely invaluable to producing models adaptable to changes. I recommend this book highly for not only the beginner, but anyone who wants to have a better understanding of this valuable tool that he or she is using.
